I defeated those sprockets. First time ever doing any mechanical work on my (any) motorcycle. It wasnt even that bad! Then I went for my first real ride.... I think im hooked on the 2 wheels business.

I may have limited knowledge on the subject but ill give a warning. Make sure you get some nice Steel sprockets. Not the crappy aluminum (unless you need it for a very specific purpose). I spotted the broken tooth, and after repairing it all, the wear on both sprockets were pretty rad.

Oh! And check your front sprocket (countershaft sprocket) nut! Mine was totally loose when I got to it. Thankfully the lock washer kept it on.

My only problem was doing the chain alignment/adjusting. It was a very intense couple hours getting it just right.

Also, this was a 520 chain setup. with a -1 on the front sprocket from oem. I went back to the standard gearing, and 530 setup. If anyone was wondering.

Im gonna hook up my gopro and get some rolling shots soon. And hopefully some nice audio clips. This bike sounds amazing.
